workshop

I set up my first workshop in Brighton in 1998.

This followed on from a degree in ‘Wood, Metal, Ceramics and Plastics’ at the University of Brighton, a blacksmithing apprenticeship and work as a sculptor’s assistant.

Now based in Litlington, East Sussex, I make bespoke metal pieces that combine function with aesthetics.

Inspired by a love of nature, my work often incorporates organic and plant-like motifs, not to mention the odd bird or two!

From gates and railings to lights and candleholders, all of my work is entirely handcrafted, so each piece is unique.

I work predominantly in steel as it is an amazingly versatile material and has a great capacity for manipulation, it allows the creation of fine and graceful forms, while retaining its natural strength and resilience.

Quality of workmanship is very important to me and all pieces are finished to a very high standard.

Every part of my work is hand-made, so each artefact is different. Designs can be made to meet an individual client’s needs, thereby making a piece totally unique to them.

I work to commission and make a wide range of interior and exterior items.
